Electrocoating (ECoat) uses an electrical current to deposit paint onto a part or assembled product. The film deposits evenly and continuously over every surface, crevice and corner. The thickness of the coating can be controlled by the voltage applied during the immersion bath.
American Trim has run a successful E-Coat line since 1996 using a cathodic epoxy process for primer and final finish parts.

E-Coat is specifically designed for automotive, motorcycle, heavy truck and industrial components requiring a robust pre-paint to ensure excellent corrosion resistance.

- Clear brotective top coat
- Black, white, gray and silver
- Coating thicknesses from .6-1.2 ml
- 1,000 hours salt spray, humidity, water immersion
- 24 hour gas, oil, brake fluid, acid, alkali, and glycol ether resistance
E-Coat Products
